Benifits of Heinrich Böll Foundation Scholarships 2024 in Germany:

Masters Studies:

For non-EU students, the monthly stipend is set at €850, supplemented by additional allowances. In certain instances, tuition fees may be applicable in Germany.

For EU students, the monthly stipend fluctuates, with a maximum limit of €649, in addition to €300 allocated for educational materials. Unlike in Germany, tuition fees are not applicable, though they may be permitted to a restricted extent in other countries.

It’s important to note that this scholarship encompasses the standard study duration, which may be extended by one semester.

Ph.D. Studies:

International students, hailing from countries outside the European Union (EU), are eligible for a monthly stipend of €1,200 along with a €100 mobility allowance. Additionally, they may receive various supplementary allowances. Notably, tuition fees are not applicable.

On the other hand, students from EU member states are entitled to a monthly stipend of €1350, accompanied by a €100 monthly allowance specifically designated for research costs. While Germany itself does not impose tuition fees, it is noteworthy that limited fees may be applicable in other locations.

The scholarship, typically granted for a duration of two years, holds the possibility of extension twice, with each extension spanning half a year at most. This extension option provides students with an opportunity to further enrich their academic pursuits beyond the initial two-year period.
