Benefits

Australia Awards Scholarships are granted for the minimum duration required for individuals to successfully complete the specified academic program at the Australian higher education institution, inclusive of any preparatory training. The following benefits typically apply:

Full Tuition Fees
Return Air Travel: Covers the cost of a single return economy class airfare to and from Australia, utilizing the most direct route.
Establishment Allowance: A one-time payment contributing towards accommodation expenses, textbooks, and study materials.
Contribution to Living Expenses (CLE): A fortnightly stipend for basic living expenses, provided at a rate determined by the department.
Introductory Academic Program (IAP): A mandatory program preceding formal academic studies, offering information on living and studying in Australia.
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC): Provided for the duration of the award (for the award holder only) to cover basic medical costs, excluding pre-existing conditions.
Pre-course English (PCE) Fees: If necessary, PCE may be available for students for both in-country and in-Australia training.
Supplementary Academic Support: Available to ensure the scholar’s academic success or enhance their academic experience.
